In line with LMP’s vision, mission and objectives, LMP Batangas will serve as a “nexus” and “catalyst” for real positive change and transformation... an “instrument” and not a “machinery” where we can see a clearer vision and a determined effort to achieve development goals for the Municipalities of Batangas. Innovation and excellence will be the key, networking and unity will be the door to find solutions to the many questions, concerns, and issues that afflict all leaders of the province. It will be re-engineering and re-strengthening. A reinventing of the pages of the LMP in the Province of Batangas!
With the concerted efforts of the LMP Batangas Officers and Members, we intend to
1. Make LMP Batangas a research base on innovative and effective good practices of municipalities and the promotion of good governance for replication;
2. Promote learning opportunities on strategic planning and management, coastal resource management, solid waste management, local economic development, sustainable tourism, and other programs;
3. Lobby for the passage of important bills and legislation;
4. Establish strong partnership with local and international, public and private organizations on matters that will contribute to the achievement of development goals for the member-municipalities;
5. Conduct activities like Lakbay Aral among members to re-discover and promote places and things of interests in their respective areas.
